Clare County Arts Office seeks artists for Artists Mentorship Scheme
Clare Arts Office is seeking applications from Clare-based artists in the early stages of their career who have an interest in learning the professional skills necessary for developing and delivering projects within Arts and Education and/or Disability settings in Clare.
Artists who work across all art forms, architecture, circus, dance, literature, film, music, opera, theatre, visual arts, traditional arts and animation, and more, are welcome to apply.
Artists who are selected will learn through practice, by shadowing an experienced professional mentor on a residency project in a school or a disability organisation. The mentee will also engage with the mentor to learn skills such as project-proposal development, project management, facilitation skills and how to monitor, evaluate and document project work. Mentees will receive a fee, which will be paid by the Clare Arts Office.
